Cuddan Point
A site of Special Scientific Interest with unique flora and
fauna. Views across all of Mount's Bay to the Lizard Peninsula and
westward towards Land's End Peninsula. Nearby are many coves and
caves, which provide a nearby enjoyable coastal walk.
Kenneggy
Kenneggy offers beautiful sands and safe calm waters.
Set in an unusually quiet location, the beach access at high tide is quite
steep, therefore you need to be reasonably fit and able!
Perranuthnoe
A good beginners surfing spot.Occasional good right-handers breaking near the rocks at the
North West end of the beach. A good place to check when Praa Sands is too
big, and it doesn't get too busy.
Praa Sands

Praa Sands
consists of a collection of mostly 20th century houses, a few small
shops and a wonderful stretch of sand in a bay with good surf.
Ample car parking space is available and a bus service to Penzance and
Helston.
Lifeguard Service: The council employs
a lifeguard team to cover from May 27th through to 10th September and
is in operation seven days a week between the hours of 10am and
6pm. During the winter months the council provides lifeguard
cover over the weekends at Praa Sands and Portreath.
Dog free in the summer.
Picks up more swell than Perranuthanoe. The North end receives some
protection from West winds by the point, of which a fast right
sometimes breaks. The East end can have dangerous rips in a big swell.
